I am an Australian nature, macro, and fine art photographer and have been taking photos for close to two decades. I love nature and the great outdoors and I combine my passion for photography with hiking and mountain climbing activities. I feel alive when I am in wild places or when I await sunrise on top of a mountain. With camera at a ready.
I try to show the subject matter in my images not how they are but what they mean to me or might represent a particular mood, value, atmosphere, feeling or mental state. I try to present my work in the way that reality can be interpreted and mundane objects and scenes can be transformed into forms of artistic expression.
